This happened mostly in the summer of 2007, after Oceanographer had taken our first hiatus the year before.

I hand a handful of folksy country-ish solo tunes (some dating back to the 90s, and our time in Texas). Eric had a studio at his disposal, and— together with a bunch of friends— we had a whole lot of time on our hands. Most of this was recorded in the wee hours of the morning as the bars were closing, hence "The Last Rounders." You can hear the intoxication on a lot of the tracks, but I hope you won't hold that against us.
